“Sense8” left the viewer to ponder at many cliff-hanger corners. The pilot season of the show got a mixed-bag response from the fans as well as the critics because many found it confusing with so many psychological angels.  To deliver a convincing explanation, the second season of “Sense8” has been designed just for it, assures the show-runner.

As we have discussed earlier that Netflix sci-fi drama follows a story-line of eight people from different corners of the world. The connection between them is basically psychical. As a result, it leads to a lot more happening, which is beyond the level of average understanding. As per International Business Times, the approaching season of “Sense8” will help the audience have a better understanding of why these eight people are linked.

Creator Michael J. Straczynski clarified that the season 1 of the television series was intended to be confusing because the viewers are always on the same page as the sensates. The 61-year-old explained to Gold Derby:

“The audience only knows what the eight characters know, and you, the audience, find out as they find it out. And so the mystery for a long time is what the hell is going on and why is this happening?”

He further disclosed that the story will be much clearer in Sense8 season 2 as the audience and the group will find out more. Straczynski told:

“You kind of get some information of that towards the end of the season, but once they, in the second season, broaden out to the rest of the world, they find other clusters and people who know what’s going on,” Straczynski revealed. “Now we begin to find out the mythology behind what it is to be a sensate.

Are there others? Where do we come from? Why are they perceived to be a threat? So really the second season is about providing a lot of answers to the questions that viewers had after seeing the first season.”

With the creator’s assurance, now the fans can breathe a sigh of relief.  We can expect in Sense8 Season 2, the characters will have better control of their psychic abilities. Jamie Clayton who we know as Nomi on the show teased that they’ll be able to give each other frequent visits this year due to their improved skills. Reports Buzzfeed.

“Sense8” season 2 is expected to premiere in fall 2016.
