Selena Gomez is a multi-talented singer and actress, and now Justin Bieber’s former girlfriend is about to become an executive producer for a still-untitled series in Freeform network. Does that mean that she would quit acting?

Billboard confirmed that Gomez will be joining coproducer Aaron Kaplan. The upcoming series is inspired by the story of Ana Cobarrubias, a young Latina from East Los Angeles who is “destined for greatness.”

Cobarrubias will be the show’s consultant while Gomez’ mother, Mandy Teefy, will be working will them as well. Aside from the unnamed show, the Latina artist will also be executively producing a 13-episode series for Netflix. The said television show is an adaptation of the adult novel “13 Reasons Why.”

While Gomez will be venturing behind the spotlight, rumours about her acting career start to emerge. The “Hands to Myself” singer is speculated to be leaving her acting stint, but this news is still unconfirmed.

In other news, Gomez has been reportedly involved in a love triangle between her ex-boyfriend, Bieber and reality star, Kourtney Kardashian. According to the hottest report, she is already “fed up” with Bieber not ending his relationship with the mom of three.

However, a source from Hollywood Life said that she is scared of the Kardashians because of the influence that the family has on social media and television. “The Kardashians scare Kourtney,” the source explains. “She knows they have no boundaries. She does not want to have a confrontation with that family,” the insider added.

In the past few months, Gomez was linked to a handsome businessman named Samuel Krost. Previous reports stated that they were spotted holding hands after having dinner with some friends. But with these reports coming about Gomez and the Canadian singer, news on Bieber and Kourtney would need clarification in the near future.
