Selena Gomez revealed that her Revival tour will not be featuring any celeb guest appearances, contrary to bestie Taylor Swift’s successful 1989 tour.
Although Swift encouraged the guest appearances, Gomez believed in the opposite as she didn’t feel the same way.
The “Hands To Myself” singer wont allow herself to be compared to her bestie. One can’t blame her for that one as she wants to focus on music and deliver the best shows for her fans.
“I made a joke about this when Taylor was in the room,” Selena said. She added that Swift said she should “totally do that.” But she cannot have all those people come on her stage, says Selena.
“She’s like, ‘Why not?’ Because I’m not Taylor Swift!” Selena said.
All she wants is to be just “vibrant and full of life” so that one feels good after leaving the gig, says Latina.
Selena mentioned that she doesn’t want her creations to be judged by whom she’s friends with or who she’s dating.
The young musician-superstar has confirmed that lately she is wise beyond her years. After being in the entertainment business for so long, Selena has proved to be so.
“I’ve been in so many situations where it’s like, ‘Oh, you’re friends with this person? You’re with that person?’ All this credibility s–t that drives me crazy.” Selena said.
According to E! Online she loves the fact that she is able to work with other admiring artists. But the young star believes that she has a lot to do before she is willing to make it all “about embracing other people.”
She also added that, she wont be performing on a stage that will be too over-the-top, with confetti blasts and dazzling fires every five seconds.
However, the Revival tour is still going to be the greatest stage she’s ever performed on and she’s pretty excited. According to Selena people will have their own personal revivals out in the audience.
