The reports about the awkward reunion of Selena Gomez with Justin Bieber on ‘Saturday Night Live’ are false.
According to Gossip Cop sources, Gomez knew the plan for the skit early on. If she felt uncomfortable about it beforehand, then it would have been taken out of the show. This is not the first time tabloids have made up stories about the actress/singer. Some tabloids also earlier came out with a story that Gomez was “quitting music.”
The ‘Saturday Night Live’ debut of Gomez last Jan. 23 received praises for her amazing performance on the iconic comedy show. The actress/singer performed hits such as “Good For You,” “Same Old Love” and “Hands to Myself.” She also took part in the skit, titled “Bland Man,” which is a parody of ‘The Bachelor.’
To date, Gomez has made clear her feelings on the subject of her relationship with Bieber. In an interview with Rolling Stone, she declined to answer their question about the Canadian singer and his recent serenade to her. Gomez is apparently tired of discussing issues related to her ex-boyfriend.
After her roller coaster relationship with Bieber, Gomez was rumored to be in a relationship with Grammy Award winning musician, Zedd. She collaborated with Zedd on her hit song, “I Want You to Know.” At the time, Gomez neither confirmed nor denied the issue. She only revealed the truth during an interview with a New Zealand radio show in June 2015. Her relationship with Zedd ended in April 2015.
It was later reported that Gomez was dating Niall Horan of the boy band, ‘One Direction.’ Towards the end of 2015, she was linked to Samuel Krost. Since then, numerous pictures of Gomez and Krost have surfaced online. She met Krost through a mutual friend.
