Selena Gomez and Britney Spears both started their journey in the music industry by being Disney Channel sweethearts. Today, the pop royalties might be going to have a joint album and tour.

Their fans must be thrilled to hear about that, because Spears and Gomez are both popular in their time. Hence, a collaboration will bring unison to 90’s and today’s generation.

The Latina singer surprised the fans via Snapchat on July 20. Selena Gomez is proud to tell her fans that she had a “technical” collaboration with the Toxic singer for the song Hands.

Then, the mother of two replied to her after seeing the video. Spears asked her when they were going to start on the actual duet.

This is not the first time that the artists worked together. According to MTV News, Spears wrote a song for Gomez entitled Whiplash.

“I just heard the song; I fell in love with it. They gave it to me, the producers who worked on it, and I came and sang and saw that she had co-written it, so I was very excited… It was an honor,” the young singer exclaimed.

The Latina is also a fan of the Baby… One More Time hitmaker. She put together a tribute to Britney by performing her classic hits like  Crazy, I’m A Slave 4 U, and more.
