Fans of Scream Queens Season 2 will have to wait some more as its premiere date has not been revealed yet. However, Emma Roberts has promised that whenever that will be, it’s going to be a treat for the loyal viewers of the hit series.
“We’re adding some incredible new cast members that you’ll find out about soon. It’s going to be fun, it’s going to be wild,” she said per E! News. However, she immediately added that the cast members have not read the script just yet so they don’t know what’s in store for them after the big revelation last season.
It can be recalled that Lea Michele’s character Hester was, in fact, one of the Red Devil killers. Then Emma Roberts’ Chanel, along with the other girls, were sent to the mental institution after they were accused of perpetrating the murders.
Michele told E! that her character is going to be even more “crazier this year” compared to the pilot, which would be a blast.
In a previous press release, FOX has announced the orders for Scream Queens Season 2. Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk hit on a gem once again as the series was very popular among adults 18-34 years old with an average of +167 percent gain versus its Live + Same Day delivery.
The statement also teased spoilers as it said that the cast of characters has graduated from college and moved to an all-new location. However, there’s no premiere date for Scream Queens Season 2 yet in the FOX website.
For her part, Jamie Lee Curtis told in the same E! News article that the setting of the sophomore series will serve as a theme backdrop. “It’s in a hospital, [there’s] a lot of darkness in hospitals—dark hallways, scary rooms, sharp objects, a lot of blood, disinfectants,” she said.
According to the speculations from Christian Today, meanwhile, the premiere of Scream Queens Season 2 may be in September, just like in its pilot season.
