“Scream Queens” is looking for three “hunk doctors” for its upcoming season two.
Executive producer Brad Falchuk revealed to HollywoodLife that the show is looking to find three men to play the role of “hunky doctors.”
“We’re trying to find three great guys to play these three hunky doctors. So it’s more about finding those guys, and they’ll be series regulars,” Falchuk said when asked how he felt about speculations that Styles will be joining the show.
It was Lea Michele who actually started the buzz about Styles appearing on season 2 of “Scream Queens.” During the 2016 PaleyFest Los Angeles at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood over the weekend, the actress joked that One Direction star will join the Fox show, Us Weekly reported.
Lourd and Keke Palmer, meanwhile, expressed interest of working with Justin Bieber, Us Weekly added. Former One Direction member Zayn Malik has also been rumoured to be joining the cast.
Meanwhile, actress Jamie Lee Curtis confirmed that aside from Michele, Lourd and Palmer, among those who will return in season two of Fox series are Abigail Breslin, Emma Roberts and Niecy Nash.
“According to the boss, we’re all going to be back,” Curtis said.
The “Scream Queens” upcoming season will also take place inside a hospital. Falchuk revealed that the season two setting will draw inspiration from the classic horror franchise “Halloween.” He said the hospital will be run by Curtis’ character, Dean Cathy Munsch. Falchuk said the college administrator from season one “has moved on to great success” after she abolished the college Greek system and traveled the world in search of a new mission.
“Scream Queens” season two will be filmed in Los Angeles, relocating from New Orleans where season one was filmed. A premiere date for the upcoming season has yet to be announced.
