The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is considered to be one of the best Android tablets available to date. The South Korean tech giant has long been rumored to refresh its much coveted Galaxy Tab S tablet series. The next iteration of Tab S2 dubbed as Galaxy Tab S3 may arrive as early as July 15. However, Samsung has not yet confirmed the Galaxy Tab S3 release date.

Previously, several leaks and rumors surfaced online indicating the possible release of another tablet in the Galaxy Tab S line-up. Earlier this week, noted leakster Evan Blass posted a set of three images on his Twitter page (@evleaks) purported to be the next Galaxy Tab S3. The images clearly display the back and front panel view of the rumored tablet in black and white color options.

According to prevailing speculations, the Tab S3 may also arrive in two variants with 8.0-inch and 9.7-inch display screens, just like the Galaxy Tab S2.

Last month, the speculated Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 with model number SM-T719C appeared briefly on TENNA, revealing key specifications of the device.  The tablet emerged with similar design and dimensions to that of the Galaxy Tab S2, as reported by Tech Times. Both the 8.0-inch and 9.7-inch Tab S3 devices will come packed with Super AMOLED display bearing 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz. The chipset is believed to include four Cortex-A72 and four A53 CPU cores. The tablet may house 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Samsung’s Tab S2 8.0 runs on its homegrown octa-core processor Exynos 5433 chip in a combination of two quad-core chips running at 1.9GHz and 1.3GHz, respectively.

The all new Galaxy Tab S3 will arrive with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed. The 8-inch variant of the tablet is rumored to house a massive 4,000mAh battery unit to keep the lights on. Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S2 in July 2015. So it is fair to assume that the speculated Galaxy Tab S3 release date would fall in the same time frame.
