The most anticipated android smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S8, is coming very soon. Now, new leaks suggest that it could launch with an advanced front camera.
Despite the company’s low points this year, Samsung is trying to move forward and focus on their flagship smartphone. In a report by ET News, the electronics company is planning to enhance the Galaxy S8 even more. The front cam might include an automatic focus function (AF).
Judging from the leak, it seems a good news to users since it will also provide quality photographs taken using the selfie cam. Samsung will also improve the speed and accuracy of pictures taken since users have high demands due to selfie norms.
The front cam has always adhered to 5 megapixels fixed focus for its flagship devices. However, South Korea has decided to step out of the norm and turn their focus on the selfie camera.
Forbes reports that having an auto focus function on the front cam is very rare in the smartphone industry. Hence, it will be an advantage for the company to help users forget about the Note 7 incidents. Moreover, Samsung has decided to add the new feature of AF for front cameras of Galaxy S8 to take advantage of the hype.
Samsung added the feature to stand out from other competitors. “People are starting to take more selfies and the number of demands for cameras that take selfies with higher qualities is increasing,” a source said.
Furthermore, Galaxy S8 will offer its brand-new design with OLED displays that will incorporate fingerprint and iris scanners. Rumors have it that the flagship smartphone is designed with curved screens and dual rear cameras.
Samsung Galaxy S8 launches early March of next year.
