There is no denying that as a 2016 flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be packing in quite a punch. The rumors also indicate at specs such as a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB RAM, latest version of Marshmallow and dual camera setup amongst other features.
What will materialize remains to be seen but many are wondering when exactly the device will be landing into the nearest stores. It is being widely accepted that the Korean tech-giant may unveil the smartphone at the Mobile World Conference 2016 in February to be held in Barcelona. So, fans can expect to witness it launch anytime between 22-25 February. This indicates that soon after the unveiling, the flagship device should be made available in the nearest stores. However, fans can’t help but wonder, when exactly will that happen?
A popular tipster, Evan Blass (@evleaks) recently dropped the hint that the Galaxy device will be releasing in the US on March 11, 2016. This information sits in pretty well with a previous China Mobile leak which indicated at a March release of the Samsung Galaxy S7 device.
For those not in the know, last month at a press conference, China Mobile put up a slide which revealed when exactly the upcoming devices will be landing on the network. Lo and behold, the Galaxy S7 was marked for a March 2016 release, which only strengthened the speculations of the handset launching in February at MWC.
This won’t be the first time that the Korean tech company will be announcing its flagship at the show, so it won’t come as a surprise to many. However, as noted by Tech Radar, with just a single tweet indicating an exact release date, take this with a pinch of skepticism. Samsung loyalists should lightly pencil the date in their calendars, until anything more is heard on that front.
