Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has probably made an appearance sooner than anyone expected since the company mistakenly leaked a video of the device, also outlining some of its features.

The Samsung Indonesia channel on YouTube has a video uploaded with the title “Samsung Galaxy: Get Ready for #TheNextGalaxy.” However, the name of the device hasn’t been mentioned anywhere in the video. The clipping shows Indonesian archer Dellie Threesyadinda using the device through training. The events clearly confirm that the device is waterproof and comes with wireless charging capability. Additionally, it appears that there is an upgraded camera onboard as well.

With Threesyadinda carrying and easily using the device through a downpour suggests that the offering may boast of IP68 waterproofing after all, as noted by Tech Radar. Reportedly, while this video doesn’t carry the name of the device, another teaser shows a screenshot from the video and it is captioned: “Samsung Galaxy S7: Get Ready for #TheNextGalaxy” further strengthening the rumours.

Adding to that, the handset looks quite similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, which is what the Galaxy S7 Edge is rumoured to look like with its 5.5-inch (or 5.7-inch) display.

As for the internals, the handset is expected to come powered by Qualcomm’s latest, the Snapdragon 820 processor or the Exynos 8890 chipset with 4GB RAM. What’s noteworthy is that the device may also house a mean 3600mAh battery giving it the capability to provide fuel for a good number of hours. Another latest leak from @evleaks, revealed that the Galaxy Edge may land in shades of silver, black and gold for users to choose form.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge is expected to be unveiled on February 21 at the Mobile World Congress 2016. If speculations are anything to go by, then the devices may go up for pre-order on the very same day and come with a free Gear VR through to March 10.
