Fans can now take a good look at the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge renders which have recently surfaced. The images show-off the front as well as the rear panel of what may well be the upcoming Samsung flagship.
Probably one of the best looks available of the flagship devices has been shared by popular leaker Evan Blass. As noted by Forbes, the leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S7 lineup do look “boring.” Barring a few changes, it is a replica of the Galaxy S6. But then again, it was widely accepted that the Galaxy S7 will be following in the footsteps of its predecessor and no radical changes would be made to the design.
Blass in his report on VentureBeat claimed that the Galaxy S7 will sport a 5.1-inch Quad HD display and come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 3,000 mAh battery. It is also expected to sport a 12MP primary snapper. Details for the Galaxy S7 Edge read out to be 5.5-inch Quad HD display with a large 3,600 mAh battery.
These details coincide well with a leaked Galaxy S7 slide presentation as well as previous benchmark leaks, which clearly gives fans an overall idea of what the flagship will be bringing.
Also, there is a good possibility that fans will witness the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge sans a Plus variant. Loyalists who have been skeptical about an earlier tweet from Blass, suggesting that the Plus model may not launch alongside the Galaxy S7, may have now been disappointed. With the images of the two models leaked and the plus variant not in sight, it appears that the lineup is arriving without one member.
Come February 21 and Samsung loyalists will know for sure what the 2016 flagship has in store for them.
