Samsung has been captivating the public with the wave of high-quality devices but it must be surprising to know that they might be releasing the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on August 2.
A photo obtained by Phone Arena revealed Samsung’s invitation line “the next edge is just around the corner,” with a date of Aug. 2, 2016, listed. There is also a “stylized 7” on the poster which might indicate that the next flagship device will bear the official product name Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
Meanwhile, another rumor stated that product distribution will begin in July. The outlet wrote that some 5 million units will be manufactured so as to meet the initial demand for the device. It is anticipated that the Note 7 could be available before August ends.
For features and designs, the tech website wrote that Note 7 might just be an improvement on its predecessor, without any extravagant revamps. However, it is much expected that the device will sport a curved edge display.
While this might sound like another sleek and sophisticated exterior, tech-savvy users are also expecting a water-resistant phone with a microSD card, an iris scanner, and a USB Type-C port. The upcoming device might also sport a 5.8-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display.
As for the internal specs, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is also anticipated to be run by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 with 6 or 8GB of RAM powered by Exynos 8 Octa 8890 chipset and a whopping 4,000 mAh battery capacity. The mobile product might not be operated by Android N because the latter will not be rumoredly out until the third quarter.
On the other hand, the only details so far about the S Pen is it could be foldable and can also be used as a kickstand. Samsung is yet to confirm all the features and specifications about Galaxy Note 7 so stay tuned for more updates.
