The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 may be packing in a 6GB RAM.
Tech enthusiasts may be expecting Snapdragon 820 chipsets with 4GB RAMs to be the norm for the upcoming flagships this year. But, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 rumours suggest bigger updates.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 series is yet to be launched, and rumours over the Note 6 have already starting pouring in. If Samsung does stick with its announcement schedule then fans will only be witnessing the Galaxy Note 6 launch in the later half of the year. But that hasn’t stopped new leaks from coming in. The latest rumour suggests that the device may sport a 5.8-inch display, according to a leakster on Weibo.
The slight bump up in the screen size, when compared to its predecessor, may not elicit any reaction. But, the device packing in a 6GB RAM may just leave many surprised. Sure, with a number of months to go before the handset launches, take these rumours with a huge pinch of salt.
Other speculated details fall in line with what is expected from the Galaxy S7 line, including the chipsets under the hood. The Galaxy Note 6 may also boast of two variants, one with a possible Snapdragon chip and the other with the company’s own Exynos Processor.
As noted by Android Headlines, these could well be the Snapdragon 820 and the Exynos 8890 chipsets. As for the storage, the Note 6 may arrive with options of 64GB and 128GB. As for the snappers too, the device may be taking a leaf out of the Galaxy S7 lineup and may possess a 12MP camera.
While there are no other details out there, fans recently heard of the Galaxy S7 Edge probably getting a massive 3600mAh battery. So, chances are the Note 6 may be embedded with a larger battery, which might well be a bump up from its predecessor, the Note 5.
Even if the 6GB RAM may sound quite out there, it does seem like the Note 6 is going to be one mean machine. Keep coming back for more leaks, updates and rumours on the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 since this is just the very beginning.
