A “Resident Evil 7” teaser is out and it comes in the form of a 20-minute demo. If you are one of the gamers who would rather wait for the game’s release and not check out the demo at all, you might want to reconsider.
Gamespot reports new information that suggest the demo will be a separate experience from the main game itself.
Did we get your attention? Here are reasons to convince you more on why you should check out the demo.
1. The demo is a prologue
In the same report by Gamespot, the website gets confirmation from Capcom that the demo is a prologue to the main “Resident Evil 7” game. While many would not mind missing out on an introductory content for the game, it will be the player’s loss if he or she won’t consider checking the demo out. Capcom also shared to Gamespot that this content will not be featured in the finished game; hence, either you check it out now or it is gone forever.
2. The waiting game will be long
The game is scheduled to be released on January 24, 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Whatever your patience level, it is safe to say that January of next year is still a long way. While there may be other games that can be played in the months leading to the release date, it surely helps if you indulge yourself in an initial experience for “Resident Evil 7”.
3. Different endings = more fun
As per Kotaku, playing the demo leads to different endings relative to different actions players take. The possibility of many endings should be a fun challenge to ease the long wait for “Resident Evil 7”. And even when you would go for a few rounds of playing the demo, a review from PC Gamer suggests that you won’t be left disappointed since one can still find a few new scares after another try.
4. You are offered a cool mystery to think about
Finally, if you want something to get you by the months until “Resident Evil 7” is made available, Kotaku details that the mystery of the “Dummy Finger” has left players and netizens clueless. According to the site, unlike the functionality of the axe, fuse, and key in exiting the house, the use of the finger is a puzzle. Something cool to think about, huh?
What do you say? Are you convinced by these reasons? Better yet, have you solved the mystery of the dummy finger? If you did, let us know in the comments below! We would love to hear it.
