“Quantico” star Priyanka Chopra allegedly slammed Maxim India magazine for photoshopping her armpits. Meanwhile, the series will be adding two new characters for season 2.

The sexy leading lady did a photoshoot for the mag’s cover on June 17 but the results were quite a bit off, notes Hollywood Life. According to the website, her armpits just became a “slab of perfect skin.”

The armpit controversy had spread like wildfire. Her fans and the web tabloid are asking if that is a result of digital tweaking. Suddenly, the actress has broken her silence and posted this on Twitter:

This might suggest that her photo with Maxim is Photoshopped, but other factors like the lighting must have affected the outcome of her “smooth underarms.” The magazine is yet to comment on the controversy.

Chopra has been very open about her experiences in Hollywood. She even admitted that she felt nervous auditioning for the lead role in “Quantico.”

The Bollywood star also talked about “stereotypical connotation” among Indian actors in the United States. “I don’t think art should have barriers of geography, language , [color] or creed or anything. Art is art,” Chopra said.

“I feel that we can be anything,” she added. “Today, India is the youngest country in the world and our youth is empowered with being able to do and be anything they want in any part of the world. So we should not be told that you can’t do something.”

On the other hand, TV Line reported that there will be two new characters to join the cast of “Quantico” Season 2. First up is Lydia who is described by the site as “Jessica Jones by night, Jessica Chastain in Zero Dark Thirty by day.”

The new actress will be portraying an African-American woman in her late 20s. Meanwhile, Russell Tovey is to portray Harry Doyle, who will probably have ties with the CIA.
