Gamers, sit back and fasten your seat belts, because 2016 is set to give you a horde of games that will set your blood flowing.
Sony executive Shuhei Yoshida told 4Gamer that next year “marks an unprecedented rush of big titles for PS4.”
IGN also relayed that Yoshida highlighted the impending release of PlayStation VR as one of the many reasons for gamers around the world to be excited about 2016.
While we head on to the New Year, here are the top games that you can look forward to, with this list via The Guardian.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Expect huge set-pieces, emotions and kick-ass storytelling. This is the fourth and final installment to Nathan Drake’s epic adventure series. Drake is married and retired but his brother emerges out of nowhere and Drake is pulled out into the middle.
Tom Clancy’s The Division
This is a strategy shooter game where spec –op warriors are ready to restore order to New York City as a deadly pandemic hits the city. You can play with other team players online and the result looks to be a survivalist take on “Destiny”.
The cult hit Persona is a combination of Japanese role-playing game (JRPG) and Pokemon. This game has high school romance, murder and friendship and with its imaginative look it looks to be another of their classics which have spawned many fan fictions and musicals.
The Last Guardian
A crumbling city. A giant bird that looks like a fox and a return for Fumito Ueda. Expect another atmospheric and adrenaline driven experience flowing a young boy and his bird.
Horizon: Zero Dawn
Robots are cool and so are Dinosaurs. But, what if both merged into one large monster – Robot Dinosaurs. This game is set in an post-apocalyptic planet where a hunter sets on a mission to destroy these deadly creatures. It looks beautiful with its combat techniques in a world of explorations. Certainly not a game to miss out on.
Arkane Studio’s second installment to the stealth game Dishonored brings a new character Emily Kaldwin. The game promises to be completely different from its first installment which should mean new environments and better combat techniques.
