The “ Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare ” is now here. As the name suggests, the title will be bigger and better than ever. We bring you the latest details on the game, the release date, and more.
Communications Director of Infinity Ward, Eric Monacelli, mentions about the upcoming release in the official Playstation Blog. He writes, “We are thrilled to reveal that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is officially the next title from our studio, and we’ve got a ton of fresh info to share with you today.
“Infinite Warfare represents a departure for us in several ways. This will be Infinity Ward’s first Call of Duty to benefit from a full three-year development timeline. That means we’re bringing an ambitious approach and employing state-of-the-art design methods during our development. We’ll also have a little extra time for even more of the high-quality polish and refinement to make this game everything it can be.

As per the official Call of Duty website, Infinite Warfare delivers three unique game modes: Campaign returns to the gritty, large-scale war roots of the franchise while boldly looking ahead. Multiplayer delivers the future of warfare, with many new gameplay innovations. And the cooperative Zombies mode takes players on a wild ride through a new storyline with unique gameplay features and mechanics.
If reports are to be believed, Infinite Warfare will be a “gripping portrayal of” war that will take you back to the roots of the franchise.
The makers state they are already putting “a great deal of emphasis” on the game’s engaging story. The online multiplayer experience will be amazing and the “maps will showcase never-before-seen environments depicted for the first time in franchise history.”
The game will also have a Zombie mode that will allow players to run wild through a “new storyline”. Stay tuned for more details.
