Sony has repeatedly expressed how 2016 will be a big year for the PlayStation 4 (PS4). Now that the new year is finally here, gaming fans are closer than ever to getting their hands on much-awaited titles.
In time for the year’s opening, Sony has released a list of 20 exclusive titles coming to the PS4.
GameSpot reports that the company has released a video that collates 20 PS4 exclusive and console debuts this new year. In addition, the website organizes the list into two different categories namely first-party exclusives (titles which are most likely to be fixed to PS4) and a second category for ambiguous titles (dependent on Sony’s arrangement with third party studios).
The list of the website can be quoted as follows:
Horizon: Zero Dawn
The Last Guardian
Gran Turismo Sport
Gravity Rush 2
Ratchet and Clank
The Tomorrow Children
Drawn to Death
Console or Timed Exclusives
Street Fighter 5
What Remains of Edith Finch
Shadow of the Beast
No Man’s Sky

Among the titles, Game Zone narrows down a list of the most anticipated games from the list.
According to the website, “Street Fighter V”, “MLB 16: The Show”, “Ratchet & Clark”, “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End”, “No Man’s Sky”, and “Horizon Zero Dawn” are among the big titles most likely looked forward to by seasoned gamers.
Game Zone also includes in its honorable mentions “The Last Guardian” and “Ni-Oh”. Mainly, these titles have yet to announce an official release date, so fans could be waiting awhile until these titles get released.
How big of a year 2016 will be for PS4 will still depend on the support of the gaming public. After all, there is a major difference between simply being a highly-anticipated title and being a major hit in sales.
