January list of PS Plus free games is almost here and the announcement will be made very soon. The December list of free games have been already released earlier in the month and renewed enthusiasm soars up for next month’s release. Lest to say, fans are expecting something really big.
Are you ready for free AAA games next month? Well, as per the MNR reports, Microsoft is already offering AAA games for Xbox Games with Gold subscribers like “Killer Instinct: Season One Ultra Edition” and “Deus Ex: Human Revolution.” So speculations are rising over the release of possible AAA free games by Sony as well.
As per the Game Zone reports, January 2016 list of PS Plus free games will be released next week. The source notes, “The first Tuesday of every month sees a new batch of free games made available while the previous month’s offerings go back to their original price.”
PlayStation Lifestyle Europe Blog Manager Fred Dutton had earlier stated that Sony wont be revealing the list so soon and the announcement will come not before Dec. 30. But now the announcement will be made next week.
“Things can change right up to the wire, so I’m reluctant to give a firm date. But at present, yes, the intent is to have the news for you mid-next week,” Dutton revealed.
He further added, “After they’re announced, the January 2016 PS+ titles will go live in the PlayStation Store on Tuesday, January 5.”
We already reported last week that there were much speculations suggesting the release of “Batman: Arkham Origins” and even “Dark Souls 2” to be made available for PlayStation 3 as well as “Borderlands” and “Borderlands 2” on PS Vita and PS3 consoles.
As we continue to speculate the free games, we put our best hopes on Sony to release free AAA games. Stay tuned for more updates on the free list of games.
