The latest clues from the set of Prison Break season 5 revealed more details about the serial drama’s upcoming revival.
Much of Prison Break season 5 is shrouded in mystery. However, tidbits of information do manage to come along and give insight into the story line of the reboot.
Early on, concerns about how the revival would push through came up. Everyone is familiar with the fate of Michael at the end of season four. Yet the first trailer made it clear that Michael (Wentworth Miller) is alive, albeit locked up in a jail. Moreover, Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) is unwavering in his plan to break him free. Hence, it promises to be a tearjerker once the brothers are reunited.
Lincoln is no stranger to the danger that often accompanies his actions. This time around, he promises to be different. His plans to get Michael out of jail faces strong opposition, perhaps from the same group responsible for his brother’s incarceration. Yet his resolve is firm despite the consequences.
“If people start finding out that Michael is still alive, then it puts their larger secret agenda at risk. They’ll kill anybody that finds out,” executive producer Paul Scheuring explained to Entertainment Weekly. Hence, Lincoln has a greater awareness of what his actions might lead to in Prison Break season 5.

The risks he faces seemed evident from the scenes depicted in the storyboards for Prison Break season 5 as featured by the publication. The car chase is part of the premiere episode of the reboot. Hence, the action starts right off the bat. The scenes could rival the actual danger that actor Dominic Purcell met on set. Indeed, the actor himself had to admit he dodged the bullet with that injury. The car chase involved Lincoln and two new villains that fans will meet on the show, Van Gogh (Steve Mouzakis) and A&W (Marina Benedict).
