“Prison Break” is coming back with Season 5. While the cast has been active sharing moments on Instagram, the filming has already begun in Vancouver.
While many from the original cast make a comeback, there might be some new faces as well. Actor Dominic Purcell took to Instagram to share some snaps from the first day of the shoot. Wentworth Miller and Sarah Wayne Callies also posted on Instagram, reports iDigital Times.
Wayne Callies posted a photograph of her wearing quirky black glasses, her caption saying she did not pick them. Robert Knepper, who played the role of Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell, took to the photo sharing site to share a snap of him with Amaury Nolasco, captioned “Beautiful reunion !! I think he is trying to stab me. That’s how he express his love !”
According to Christian Daily, Israeli actress Inbar Lavi, who will play the role of Sheba, will be one of the new characters introduced through the season. Like others, Lavi too shared some snaps on social media. Additionally, Rockmond Dunbar, who will make a comeback in Season 5, tweeted a selfie captioned “C-Note 10 yrs later.” ANN had also reported that the new season will introduce a new character, Michael Scofield’s son. However, they hadn’t found an actor until about a week back that fit the bill.
While the show is based in and started filming in Vancouver, there are speculations that some parts might be filmed in three cities in Morocco. According to The Bitbag, “Prison Break” will be filmed in Casablanca, Rabat, and Ouarzazate.
There is also a fair amount of speculation about the plot line for this reboot, but it can be fairly assumed that the first episode will take off from where the Season 4 finale ended. Lawyer Herald informs that “Prison Break” Season 5 will see Michael Scofield, played by Wentworth Miller, suffering from amnesia. This will be used to explain his disappearance from the show.
