“Pretty Little Liars” viewers might get some good news in the upcoming season 7, promises the showrunners. There will be a complete scene reversal in the show. Now, fans will hear wedding bells ringing instead of funeral verses.
Probabilities are high that we’ll see one of the characters walk down the aisle in “Pretty Little Liars” season 7.
On Monday, Pretty Little Liars executive producer Marlene King tweeted that there will be a wedding in the upcoming season 7. “There will bea #PLLWedding in season 7. #MostRomanticSeasonEver,” she wrote.

To date, we have seen some of the characters tying the knot. Ella (Holly Marie Combs) and Byron (Chad Lowe) got married in a beautiful and cozy ceremony. TV Line says Alison (Sasha Pieterse) is already married to Dr. Elliott Rollins (Huw Collins). This means the eligible singles list include Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Hanna (Ashley Benson).
Scoby, the romantic relationship between Spencer Hastings and Toby Cavanaugh (Keegan Allen), has been one of the major attractions for the fans to stick to the show. Can we expect that these two will take their romance one step ahead and make it official in the next season? Hanna is still engaged to Jordan (David Coussins), which means there’s always a chance she’ll overcome her feelings for Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) and get hitched to her fiance. Ezra (Ian Harding) and Aria (Lucy Hale) only just got back together. Factually, Aria is still dating Liam. Hence, marriage is not on their cards anytime soon, we guess. As for Emily (Shay Mitchell), she has recently opened up about some positive news about her character’s lovelife. Will it be her who will take the vows?
Of course, this wedding could be in reference to another character, Mona (Janel Parrish). Will she be the one saying “I do”? Maybe Mike Montgomery (Cody Allen Christian) will return to town to take her away, assumes Pretty Little Liars .
What are your speculations about the wedding? Which couple do you most want to see tie the knot?
Pretty Little Liars season 7 premieres Tuesday, June 21, at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
