The number of Pokemon GO players is growing rapidly. There have been some instances that the players have gone overboard. However, several websites are providing tips, tricks and updates from time to time, and here is another guideline on what you should or shouldn’t do.
Game developer Niantic released an update on July 12 addressing the issues on crashing. Thus far, the 1.0.1 version is now available via iOS and Android App Store.
Aside from focusing on stability, the company also resolved the concern about having to log in all over again. As a result, aspiring Pokemon hunters need not put in his username or password after a forced log out.
On the other hand, Popular Science went on to explain the advantages and disadvantages of the update. According to the website, the 1.0.1 version now allows the players to get notifications from the game.
Basically, it means that the hunters will be able to receive alerts when a Pokemon is nearby without draining its battery. It looks like players can enjoy playing for long hours without draining their batteries for a short span of time.
The website recommends allowing to prompt. However, they pointed out that Niantic has not included trading options on the update.
Nonetheless, the outlet noted that Niantic’s CEO John Hanke says that it is already a work in progress. Players will have the ability to exchange Pokemon with their friends online once the new update is out.
The objective of the game is to catch Pokemon until the players reach a certain level. Other mechanics include battling in Gyms to obtain more rewards.
Meanwhile, there are also Poke Stops located near each player’s vicinity but they have to walk in order to find one. However, players are advised to still be alert of their surroundings, just like the police officers at Darwin Station, Australia stated.
There will be more updates regarding Pokemon GO in the comings days so keep your eyes peeled.
