The Pokémon GO cheats contain the details on how both iOS and Android users can use the GPS spoofing technique without getting caught. However, as with all cheating methods, read and proceed at your own risk.

iOS Users: Go for a Jailbreak

For those uninitiated, jailbreaking your iPhone means you will have the freedom to install non-Apple applications. Gotta Be Mobile notes that jailbreaking an iPhone is easier than doing a counterpart move for Android. Jailbreaking can be done through a Windows or Mac through Pangu. As of writing, Pangu is on the verge of releasing a jailbreak for iOS 10 while iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak is a few days away. Jailbreaking usually lasts for a few minutes.

Android Users: Root your Phones

Before rooting, make sure the phone is a rootable version. Those with Snapdragon processors are not rootable. Moreover, please take note rooting your phone will void your warranty. For the rooting software, if iOs has Pangu, Samsung has Odin.

Hide your Modified Phones

Now it does not stop with modifying your phones. Pokemon Go will be able to detect if you have indeed tinkered with your phone’s software. This is where an invisible cloak for your phone comes in. You will then have to install an app that hides your phone’s jailbroken or rooted state.

Let the GPS Spoofing Begin

GPS spoofing lets you assume a different location from where you physically are. In theory, it lets you check out Pokéstops from Melbourne to Perth and Sydney all in the comforts of your home or wherever you may be. It involves a couple of steps discussed here.

PSA: Niantic Labs Warning

Even before the game launched, Niantic Labs have forecasted that trainers will find a way to invent Pokémon GO cheats. Thus, they included this in their Pokémon GO rules.

Methods of cheating, unfortunately, are limited only by cheaters’ imaginations, but include at a minimum the following: using modified or unofficial software; playing with multiple accounts (one account per player, please); sharing accounts; using tools or techniques to alter or falsify your location; or selling/trading accounts.

With that we leave you with more Pokémon GO cheats and tricks just in case the above warning does not deter you from exploring the possibilities.
