The Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Detroit Pistons in the second game of the NBA Play-Offs series at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland on Wednesday, April 20, starting 8 pm ET.
As per the official NBA reports, the Cleveland Cavaliers opened up the 2016 NBA Playoffs with a 106-101 win over the Detroit Pistons in Game 1 of the First Round on Sunday. The two Central Division rivals will face off again on Wednesday, where they are 34-8 including the 2015-16 regular season.
Reggie Jackson is the lone player from Piston to have gained the play-offs experience. “We don’t care who you put in front of us,” Jackson said. “We fear nobody and experience is going to be our best teacher. We’re going to learn on the fly. We think we have a chance.”
According to the Media notes, with 91 blocks as a Cavalier, LeBron James is closing in on Larry Nance (93) for the most blocks in franchise postseason history. Among all-time leaders in NBA playoff history, James is four steals away from passing Kobe Bryant (310) for 5th place. He can also move past Michael Jordan (179, 17th) and tie Dennis Rodman (180, 16th) for 16th all-time in playoff games played with an appearance tonight.
Apart from James, Irving, Love, and Thompson have been exceptional. “It definitely starts with us. It starts with our mindsets and it starts with how we approach the game,” James said when asked about the Big 3’s role.
“My mentality was to be aggressive all night,” said Love, who grabbed 13 rebounds in their last game. “We have to do that the entire series.”
