Finally, the Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales dropped it first trailer. As impressive as it was, the absence of Jack Sparrow was noticeable. Nevertheless, it offered a number of interesting details for the upcoming movie set to premiere in theaters on May 26, 2017.

1. Meet the new enemy

It is not surprising for Captain Jack Sparrow to have an enemy or two. This time around, his latest adversary is Captain Salazar, played by Javier Bardem, who appeared eager to find him. He and his crew appear like ghosts yet they manage to inflict pain and death nonetheless.

2. Meet Henry

Henry was in prison aboard the ship when Captain Salazar and his men dropped in. Yet the Captain spared his life. A bit of mystery surrounds the particular role played by Brenton Thwaites. Obviously, his character debuts in Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales. Hence, what is his connection to the others?

3. Captain Salazar’s task for Henry

Interestingly, Captain Salazar gives Henry a message for Jack Sparrow.

“Find Sparrow for me and relay a message from Capitan Salazar. Tell him, ‘death comes straight for him,’ would you tell that to him, please,” Salazar said. Hence, another enemy out to kill Jack Sparrow.

4. Relationship between Henry and Jack Sparrow

Movie Pilot surmised a possible connection between Henry and Jack Sparrow owing to the fact that Captain Salazar spared his life. Thus, could he be the son of Will and Elizabeth? Orlando Bloom is reportedly back along with Geoffrey Rush. However, it is uncertain if Keira Knightly is back as well. Then again, Henry could be part of Sparrow’s crew. Hence, the likelihood he would return to his ship to rejoin Sparrow and the others.

5. Where is Jack Sparrow?

Except for the Wanted Poster and the mention of his name several times, Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp, is not in the Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales trailer.

Is this part of the suspense for the upcoming movie or were the earlier rumors of his nightmare conduct true? Thus, was he replaced?
