After showcasing the first look of the classic musical “Beauty and the Beast”, D23 Expo didn’t fail to amaze Disney fans by revealing details about “Pirates of Caribbean 5″.

The event at Anaheim, California revealed exciting news — Orlando Bloom will be returning to the
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales”, the fifth installment of the franchise. Will Turner will be joining Jack Sparrow’s adventure, who also made quite an appearance at the expo, as shared by Holllywood Life.

Earlier this year, when Bloom was asked if he would return to the movie franchise, the actor left no certain answers. However, he did reveal that he was in talks and that he’d love to return as Will Turner if ever given the chance, Cinema Blend noted.

“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” will mark Turner’s return after skipping one movie in the franchise and it would be safe to say that he was very much missed.

The movie will showcase Jack’s pursuits for the trident of Poseidon. To add to Bloom joining the movie, Geoffrey Rush, who originally plays Captain Barbossa, will also be seen playing his part in the installment.

Now, the only question remains is whether Turner’s lady love Elizabeth Swan, played by Keira Knightley, will be a part of the much-awaited movie. There has been no word from any sources yet, so fans shouldn’t get their hopes high just yet.

But Cinema Blend rightly pointed out that in the third instalment, the post-credit scene showcased Elizabeth Swan waiting with her son as the Dutchman, captained by Will Turner, appeared on the horizon. Turner has been bound at sea and can only step on land once in ten years.

Should “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” include any of the past plots, it could be that Knightly will be returning to the movie as well.

“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” will be arriving in theatres on July 7, 2017
