“It’s so emotional…It’s so heartbreaking,” the EP teased. What could be the possible reason both Heughan and Davis had said episode 13 is going to be an emotional one. It was earlier reported that Claire and Jamie will find themselves caught in the middle of  Battle of Culloden in the season finale. Is Jamie going to die in the battle?

In addition, the highly-anticipated finale, titled “Dragonfly in Amber,” has 90-minute run time.

Starz has released a detailed synopsis of the upcoming episode 13. Apparently, the show will open with a flash forward to 1968 wherein fans will see what future holds for Claire. The finale episode will also feature two new characters -Brianna and Roger. Brianna is Claire and Jamie’s daughter.
