Priyanka Chopra, the charming Quantico actress, made her Oscar debut this year as one of the presenters. The Indian actress was chosen to present the award for Best Film Editing.

While speaking to Entertainment News, Priyanka admitted that she was nervous and had practiced the presentation beforehand. She did not want to “screw up someone’s name.”

She was also thankful that she had pre-recorded her voice for the nominations, as she was scared that she would “mess this up.” She had to fly to Miami later in the night, where she would be shooting a film.

Dressed in a white gown by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad, Priyanka looked mesmerizing. The gown had white floral embellishments and was made of silk tulle in a mermaid-style design. Her hair was swept back in a low ponytail and she had applied minimal make-up. The diamond earrings and finger-rings added to the look.

Priyanka not the only non-US presenter at the Oscars

Margot Robbie: According to the Mirror, Australian actress Margot Robbie wore a dazzling gold outfit on stage as she stepped up to present an award.
Andy Serkis: The English film-actor and director was also chosen to present an award. He later tweeted his happiness at the opportunity.

Ryan Gosling: Canadian actor Ryan Gosling gave away the Oscar for ‘Best Adapted Screenplay’ to The Big Short noted Justjared.

The Weeknd: Canadian singer Weeknd was also called on stage to present an Oscar.
