‘Orange is the New Black’ Season 4 Release Date, Trailer & Cast: Everything We Know So Far

Crazier and darker lives for the prisoners at Litchfield prison await fans in the upcoming season 4 of “Orange is the New Black”.

“OITNB” is not due until next year, yet there are several speculations already on what fans may expect from the Netflix hit series.

Christian Today notes that Alex (Laura Prepon) might still be alive even if season 3 made it look like she was already gone.

Prepon recently shared a photo on her Instagram where she held up an identification card for a correctional wherein she is seen wearing an orange jumpsuit. She captioned the image, “excited to get out there and make an awesome season.”

There were also rumors that John Bennet (Matt McGorry) staged his disappearance the past season and will return in season 4. The prison guard’s sudden disappearance was linked to Aleida’s drug dealing boyfriend Cesar (Berto Colon).

Bennet was last seen in season 3 visiting Daya’s mother Aleida (Elizabeth Rodriguez) to be at ease with the family of Daya (Dascha Polanco).

BreatheCast says many speculate Bennet may have staged his disappearance to secure the safety of his baby with Daya and the other kids living with Aleida.

“The thing that I can say about Season 4 is that it’s the writers’ decision about whether or not Bennett is back…I have my fingers crossed that he comes through and is the man that we all hoped he was,” BreatheCast wrote, quoting a Yahoo interview.

“But I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that wasn’t the case. Like me, I guess you’ll just have to wait and see.”

There are also reports that Flaca and Big Boo will shine in the upcoming season.

The show has been known for its flashbacks that look deeper into the life of the characters.

“Orange is the New Black” Season 4 release date has not been confirmed so far. Stay tuned for more updates.
