The Griffin family will have new guests on their show and it is none other than members of One Direction.

One Direction stars have lent their voice for Fox’s “Family Guy” for an episode that is going to be aired some time in May, a Variety  report has confirmed.

Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have given their voice on one of the most popular TV shows of all time, in an episode about Chris running for homecoming king.

Simon Cowell is also rumored to be a character in the episode but there are doubts on whether he himself will lend his voice or another voice actor will take over–just like Harry Styles and Niall Horan. Simon Cowell, however, has already appeared on the show before in a season 6 episode alongside Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson. Both were his former “American Idol” co-judges.

The four will appear in a campfire scene wherein Stewie tells them a horror story about non-skinny jeans, according to Entertainment Weekly. The episode is titled “Run, Chris, Run”.

“Family Guy” is known for hosting a variety of celebrities since its inception. Ariana Grande, Jason Mraz and Adam Levine are only few of the musicians who have been a part of the show.

Talking to EW, “Family Guy” executive producers Richard Appel and Steve Callaghan said:

“There are not a lot of shows that, in the same season, feature guest-star appearances by both Frank Sinatra, Jr. and One Direction. And we really enjoyed their time with us, until we realized we were both old enough to be their fathers.”

One Direction are on a high after selling 460,000 copies of their latest album “Made in the A.M” in its first week alone.

“Family Guy,” now in its 13th season, airs every Sunday at 9 p.m. on Fox.
