Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson of One Direction will be busy this month as the pair reunites in a new show.
Fans of LiLo can watch, better yet “listen” to the pair as they lend their voices to the popular animated TV series “Family Guy” on Fox. The episode is titled “Run, Chris, Run” and will air on May 15th, Sugarscape reported. The show airs at 9:00 p.m. according to TV.com.
The actual parts voiced by Payne and Tomlinson for the particular episode remain unknown, Sugarscape wrote. Nonetheless, the publication remarked it’s “something to tide us over during their hiatus, which is obviously always appreciated.” TV.com posted a summary of the episode. It revealed that Chris is elected as Homecoming King. However, his sister Meg finds out that a cool clique will prank him at the ceremony.
The reunion of One Direction in Quahog was announced in January. However, Entertainment Weekly revealed that only Payne and Tomlinson personally recorded their lines for the episode.
The publication also hinted at the possible role of One Direction in “Run, Chris, Run.” The British-Irish boyband will appear in a campfire scene with a skinny jeans horror story from Stewie. It remains unknown how this ties in to the central theme of the episode that will feature Chris as the Homecoming King.
The members of One Direction are renowned for their tight fashion statement. MTV even cited a report that revealed how skinny jeans can “seriously damage muscles and nerves” and the publication called out Niall Horan who is particularly fond of wearing the trend.
This is the second time that Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson came together during their One Direction hiatus. The pair previously attended the 2016 Brit Awards while Harry Styles and Niall Horan did not. Prior to winning the British Artist Video award, LiLo kidded that they would sell the awards of Styles and Horan should they win.
