One Direction’s fans may have felt bittersweet after watching the boy band’s last performance in the UK before their hiatus. We’ve compiled some of the best moments of the final concert to every Directiorner’s heart’s content.
The last leg of the group’s “On The Road Tour” happened in Sheffield on Oct. 31, reports BBC. After the concert, 1D might only have minor appearances on selected award shows before their hiatus on March 2016.
Here are some of the lads’ captured highlights during their final gig:
Aside from that, BBC Newsbeat also shared some of the highlights via Twitter. These include the “13,500 screaming fans” and a video of Harry Styles wearing a pair of Gold Chelsea boots.
One of the unforgettable moments was when Niall Horan recalled their first show as a band.
“I still can’t believe this. I remember five years ago when this all started,” quotes BBC. “Our first gig was a little nightclub in Scotland.”
Another one is when Liam’s father began “a conga-line through the arena.”
Meanwhile, fans also shared their thoughts on the final concert of 2015 and even 2016. Wallace Stewart from Glasgow said that he’s been to every single show of the UK tour.
“That’s more than 20 dates. Glasgow, Cardiff, Newcastle, Sheffield, London,” he explained.
“I think I am about five grand in debt. Student loan, personal loan and a credit card. But I go and see them because seeing them happy makes me happy,” the 21-year-old student added.
While, some might think that this will be the end of their musical career as One Direction, Hollywood Life reported that there could be a comeback or a reunion tour very soon. There has been no confirmation for this, however.
Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan have been together for more than 5 years. They joined the “X Factor” UK in 2010.
