Australian actor Eddie Perfect is recently returned to Offspring season 6 for some exciting storyline.
Viewers have been missing Perfect’s character, Mick Holland, in the last three episodes of season six. The actor came back last episode. Moreover, he teased that there will be some surprising storylines coming up in Offspring season 6.
The Australian drama/comedy show returned more than one year after season five.
Perfect admitted that watching the first three episodes of season six with his character absent was a strange experience. The actor said he was completely in the dark about how season six will unfold and he don’t know any of the storylines. However, once he got his head back into the script, all come back over again.
“When my character is out of town, watching I feel like I’m eavesdropping on characters’ stories I shouldn’t know about,” he told The Daily Telegraph. Perfect took a hiatus from Offspring when his character was told of having a trip in London. The 38-year-old Melbourne actor portrayed the role of Billie Proudman’s estranged husband.
Perfect also returned in Australia for the Sydney leg of his stage show, The Beast, at the Opera House from July 27.
Australian actor Alexander England, on the other hand, is also joining Offspring and he will play a major role in season 6. England has been cast as Harry Crewe, the new Crisis and Culture Manager at St Francis Hospital. He will also play as Nina Proudman (Asher Keddie) love interest.
Meanwhile, Channel Ten’s Offspring season 6 has recovered from last week’s 742,000 viewership record. According to Mumbrella, episode four was viewed by 845,000 fans at 8:40pm this week.
The soap was the second most-watched show across the key demographics of 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54. Masterchef Australia was the most-watched show at 7:30pm after recording nearly 2 million viewers.
Offspring season 6 airs every Wednesday at 8.30pm on Channel 10.
