The highly anticipated exploratory game No Man’s Sky’s release date has been revealed. After postponement of its original release scheduled last June, it’s finally coming to gaming consoles in August.

The game will be available on August 9 for North America, August 10 for Europe and August 12 for UK.

No Man’s Sky Universe

The game’s universe is an open world extending to various galaxies and planets. Every star and planet can be explored. Unique species await your discovery. Become a Charles Darwin of this man-made universe and develop your own inventory system. Players have the option to share with other players their discoveries or keep it to themselves. There is even doubt whether you’ll meet other players since the No Man’s Sky open world is so vast.

The different planets come with different landscapes, and the atmospheric system can be quite a challenge, so one’s strategy and adaptation will be tested.

No Man’s Sky Price & Specs

The retail price for this exploration game filled with action and adventure is AU$79 (US$59.99). The game will be available both for Windows and PS4. The minimum requirements for PC are the following:

  • OS: Windows 7
  • Processor: Intel Core i3
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: nVidia GTX 480
  • Storage: 10 GB available space

What’s interesting about it is that it can be played offline. A 64-bit seed and algorithm are responsible for the entirety of the universe and its components. Thus, it begs the question of whether the PS4 and Windows versions will share the same universe.
