Those who are eagerly waiting for the release of the science fiction game, “No Man’s Sky”, might have to wait a little longer until the game is released next year. It has been a very long wait and the game wont be put for Christmas as fans expected, notes Tech Radar.
While there is no confirmation on the actual release date, Playstation revealed during the Paris Games Week Press Conference announced that the release of the game is slated for June 2016.
Fans were expecting a surprise release of the game when Managing Director of Hello games and chief Designer, Sean Murray, was featured in “The Late Night Show with Stephen Gilbert”.
However, putting all rumors to rest, Murray made an announcement in the Games Week in Paris.
“In June 2016, finally this universe we are building will be yours. Get ready,” Sean said. “The game, our ambition and some key developments have fallen into place. It’s incredibly hard work, but development is going really well.”
Sean might use this time to add more features and diversify the universe. He added, “We know the eight month wait from now will be excruciating for some, but I hope you’ll see it will be worth it as we reveal more about No Man’s Sky over the coming months.
The science-fiction game set in an infinite procedurally generated galaxy has been detailed to achieve life-like terrain using Math and the makers believe that there is more to it than just the set of algorithms designed to govern it.
Sources believe that if the release of the game takes too long, both Sony and Hello Games will stand a chance of risking exhaustion. They have been pushing the game for quite a while now and people could lose interest in the game.
However, in an effort to keep the buzz going, Hello Games revealed a New Trailer for “No Man’s Sky”.
We all hope that the game releases soon particularly since more or less everything was already revealed in the preview.
