Fans who have been long awaiting the release of the Nexus 6P are now appreciating the Huawei device and probably think it was well worth the wait. Tech aficionados have taken to getting their opinions heard on-line and how much they like the new Nexus device.

With Android Marshmallow on-board coupled with a really neat design and some great specs, the Huawei manufactured smartphone appears to be one of the best Nexus devices to date. It is also the first Nexus phone to fall under the premium category.

1.Design and Display

The Huawei Nexus 6P shows-off its anodized aluminum body, which looks really good and appears like the premium device it is expected to be. The Nexus 6P has a 5.7-inch AMOLED, Gorilla Glass 4 display, embedded in its 6.27-inch × 3.06-inch × 0.29-inch chassis.

2. Android Marshmallow

This Nexus device is fast, thanks to Android M on-board and naturally, being a flagship Google phone it has more to offer. The likes of Google Search throughout the OS, Google Now on Tap as well as pre-installed Google apps and other features for Nexus fans are out there.

3. Camera

The front-facing camera reads out to be 8MP, while there is a 12.3MP snapper on the rear panel. As reviewed by Mashable, the primary camera results on this latest Nexus device are “as good as the photos taken with an iPhone 6S.” The site notes, though that the absence of optical image stabilization, making it difficult to capture good results in low-light conditions.

4. Fingerprint Sensor

Sure, fans may run into minor issues with the fingerprint sensor embedded on the back of the phone – particularly when it is kept on the table facing-up. But other than that, it is reported to unlock the device really fast and works seamlessly with Android Pay, which is a major plus.

5. Style

The arrival of the Nexus 6P proved that the bulge at the back of the device does not really look as bad as many people have feared. In fact, as noted by The Verge, “it looks far bigger in photos than it does in person.” The bulge is due to the camera components, NFC and antennas incorporated into it. If anything, the bulge gives this phablet-sized phone a distinct appearance.

6. Fast and Powerful

There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor on-board with 3GB RAM and naturally, with the OS providing a seamless experience, the device is fast. The base model of Huawei Nexus 6P with 32GB starts at $499.
