With so many rumours doing the rounds on the web, it isn’t a surprise that the images of what could potentially be the Google Nexus 6 2015 have surfaced online.
As reported by BGR, the new Nexus design, sourced by @OnLeaks and shared by Uswitch, could probably come manufactured by Huawei.
The reports about Huawei taking on the role as one of the OEMs working on the new Nexus 5, have already been around, so it wouldn’t surprise many that the Huawei is being linked to the Nexus 6.
The leaked design for the Nexus 6 appear to be quite similar to that of an iPhone. As mentioned by Digital Trends, the device could boast of a metal encasing. Furthermore, the use of colours as depicted in the renderings, give an iPhone-like feel to the designs.
What is known about the smartphone in question is that much like the new Nexus 5, the device features a fingerprint sensor at the back, a USB Type-C connector and dual speakers at the front. Additionally, a protruding camera completes the look.
As noted by BGR, Huawei has probably also been testing two display sizes: 5.5-inch and 5.7-inch for the new Google device. The speculations till date have only been hinting at a 5.7-inch display, however, potential users would have to wait and watch.
Digital Trends shares that the Huawei Nexus 6 smartphone is expected to be 159.4mm high x 78.3mm wide x 6.6mm thick. The bump on the device would bring its thickness to 8.5mm.
When and whether the iPhone look-alike will make an appearance, remains to be seen. Digital Trend points out that the leak is not actual evidence and should be taken with a grain of salt.
However, fans have the arrival of the new Nexus 5 2015 to look forward to, and they can also enjoy the now available to download – Android Marshmallow.
