All Android fans out there eagerly awaiting information on the next Nexus phone are in for a treat.

The release date and price of the new Nexus 5 2015 are still under wraps, but the possible specs have surfaced for those looking forward to the next offering from Google.

According to TechCrunch, the Mountain View technology-giant has come together with not one but two smartphone manufacturers, LG and Huawei, to create the new Nexus 5 2015. If the speculations are to be believed, the new LG Nexus 5 will be seen boasting some really neat features.

The new LG Nexus smartphone will sport a 146.9 x 72.9 x 8/9.8mm metal body which will come with a 5.2-inch display, as reported by BGR. The device will feature front-facing speakers, which should make it a good option for the music-lovers and the movie-buffs out there.

Notably though, what may strike as odd to many is that the phone may have a finger-print sensor at the back of the body. Many may be curious to see how this feature would work since it’s placed on the back of the device. Additionally, the device will have a USB Type-C port.

The Huawei Nexus may also come with a finger-print sensor on its back and should be featuring a USB Type-C connection and front-facing speakers, much like the LG device in the making. It will also come encased in a metal body, however its narrow 159.4 x 78.3 x 6.6/8.5mm body holding a slightly bigger 5.7-inch screen, will set it apart.

As per TechCrunch, the Huawei device may house a Snapdragon 8:20 chip and boast a display resolution of 2,560 x 1,440.

The specs on both the phones seem like fitting upgrades to previous versions of Nexus 5. With no word on the pricing and release date yet, it is a wait and watch game for all the fans out there.
