The first trailer of Zac Efron’s “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” is out and Mac and Kelly Radner are in even more trouble than before. According to US Weekly, the couple is trying to sell their house and move their family.
However, a new party-hosting sorority moves next door which could possibly ruin their plans. They team up with old foe Teddy (the character played by Zac Efron in the original movie) to fight against this sorority. Does Zac help this troubled couple consisting of Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne? Or does he add on to their woes?
According to Variety, the original movie was a huge hit, grossing more than US$270 million worldwide on a US$18 million budget. The sequel is expected to do similar business. “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” shows Teddy helping Mac and Kelly get rid of the sorority. Does it mean that Eforn will play the good guy in the sequel? Also, when it comes to reality, can we say the same about Efron?
The man has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. As ANN had reported, it was first for missing the big reunion on the occasion of “High School Musical’s” 10th anniversary, a movie that made his career. Then it was for his insensitive Martin Luther King Jr. Day message.
According to Perez Hilton, the actor made a joke about being grateful for Martin’s impressive legacy and his milestone of reaching 10 million followers on IG. However the “High School Musical” actor had to face a lot of criticism from his fans.
The actor was quick to realize his mistake and posted an apology on his Instagram. He also posted his apology on Twitter which said, “I have nothing but the greatest admiration & respect for MLK. My last post was insensitive & I apologize to anyone who I offended. So sorry.”
“Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” releases in May this year and the original cast of Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, Zac Efron will be joined by Selena Gomez and Chloe Grace Moretz.
