Actor Michael Weatherly is about to exit “NCIS.” Fans of the hit CBS series need not fret, though. Producers might have already found the perfect replacement.

According to TV Line, British actor Duane Henry has been cast to appear in the final two episodes of Season 13. The actor will play successful MI-6 agent Clayton Reeves. Although he will just step in as a guest star, TV Line said Henry might have a chance to be a series regular when the show returns for Season 14.

Could Henry be Weatherly’s replacement? Who is Duane Henry, anyway? Below, we round up seven things you should know about the show’s newest cast member.

1. He is from the United Kingdom.

According to Birmingham Mail, Henry was born in Birmingham, West Midlands, England.

2. He now lives in Los Angeles.

He has been living in the States for more than a year now. But before migrating to the U.S., the actor first moved to London with help from “Supergirl” actor David Harewood.

3. He worked on the British medical soap opera, “Doctors.”

According to Birmingham Mail, Duane played “no fewer than five characters” in the long-running drama between 2005 and 2013.

4. He previously worked on a DC Comics adaptation.

He had an unnamed role on “The Dark Knight Rises.”

5. He has worked with Madonna.

Remember the British movie Madonna wrote and directed four years ago? Henry had a small bit in it.

6. He is a BAFTA nominee.

In 2010, Henry got a nomination for a Screen National Award for best emerging talent.

7. Everyone on “NCIS” is excited to work with him.

Weatherly, who has played Tony on the show since 2003, might seem like a big loss. But show-runner Gary Glasberg said they think “we found something really special in Duane Henry…Everyone at NCIS is excited to have him join us.”
