NCIS New Orleans Season 3 fans are missing Agent Meredith Brody who hasn’t shows up since the season premiere last month.

Actress Zoe McLellan, who played Agent Brody, has left the show after the finale of the previous season. However, the reason of her departure is still unclear or if the character will ever come back. McLellan did not release a statement about her exit unlike NCIS star Michael Weatherly when he left the show.

It turned out Russo (Ivan Sergei) is a traitor who has been planning a terrorist attack. While Brody and the team managed to stopped the attack, doubt was cast upon Brody. She then decided to leave the team.

When the news of her departure first came out in July, the actress just shared a cryptic post on her social media accounts.

According to TV Line, NCIS producers have said that McLellan exit was a creative decision. However, it is clear that many don’t believe it and several speculations about the actress’ exit have surfaced. Allegedly, McLellan asked for salary bump but the show producers turned down her request. There was also speculation that the actress would like to spend more time with her son after her nasty divorce with ex-husband J.P Gillain last year.

Meanwhile, actress Vanessa Fertilo has been introduced in the series as FBI special agent Tammy Gregorio. The agent is investigating if other NCIS agents are also in a similar situation as Brody, iTech Post. Gregorio will later replace Brody in the team. Agent Tammy has her own secrets which prevents her to blend with Dwayne Pride’s (Scott Bakula) team.

In the upcoming NCIS New Orleans Season 3 Episode 3, Pride’s team will investigate a simple murder case which will lead them to a Mexican kidnapping case.
