Oklahoma City Thunder travels to Portland to take up the challenge against the Portland Trail Blazers at the Moda Center on Wednesday, April 4, starting 10 PM ET.

After Sunday night’s 110-118 loss against Houston, Billy Donovan’s men came back with a 124-102 win at the Pepsi Center in Tuesday night’s game against the Denver Nuggets. As per the official NBA reports, the Thunder have taken their record to 54-24 with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook leading the pack.

The official media notes read, “Through 77 games this year, Oklahoma City ranks second in the NBA in scoring (110.1 ppg) while ranking third in field goal shooting percentage (.477 FGs). Additionally, OKC leads the NBA in rebounding (48.4 rpg) while ranking fifth in blocked shots (5.97 bpg).”

Prior to the Thunder’s loss Sunday afternoon in Houston, the Thunder had won nine of its previous 10 games {with the lone loss occurring in Detroit on March 29th when Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka did not play (rest)}. In the Thunder’s last nine wins, OKC has won by an average of 15.4 points (The Thunder averaged 117.4 points on .512 percent shooting in those games).

Russel Westbrook has been exceptional throughout the season. During the month of March, Russell Westbrook recorded seven triple-doubles as he became the first player since Michael Jordan (in April of 1989) to accomplish the feat.

The Portland Trail Blazers get the backing of their home crowd against the Thunder following their game against Sacramento Kings. Their record now stands at 41-37, notes News Ok.
