The Golden State Warriors will take on the Los Angeles Clippers at the Oracle Arena in Oakland in CA on Wednesday, 23 March 2016, starting 10:30 pm ET.
The Warriors got a reality check last Saturday in Texas when they lost to San Antonio Spurs 87-79. The Spurs have already taken their record to 44-0, which is one of the best NBA League records. The official NBA source also notes that the Warriors also struggled against Minnesota in last Monday night’s 109-104 victory.
“We got the win, and it proves we can win ugly, or if we have to win by a large margin we can,” said Klay Thompson.
The Warriors have taken their NBA record to 63-7 after a record NBA start. But a loss against the Los Angeles Lakers proved that they were not unbeatable. That was quite evident against the Spurs too.
But the Warriors are high on confidence especially when they are chasing the 1995-96 Chicago Bull’s record of 72 wins. They are just 10-wins away from becoming the champions; if they did win again, they are champions for two consecutive years.
“It’s been a tough stretch for us, and it’s not going to get any easier,” forward Draymond Green said. “It’s something we’ll fight through. It’s not something we haven’t been through before, and it’s not something we won’t go through again, so we’ll be fine.”
Los Angeles Clippers haven’t been striking the best of forms. They now stand at 43-26 and beating the Warriors in Oakland will be a tough ask for them.
Andrew Bogut may not be available for the upcoming clash against the Clippers. However, Jeff Green is back with the Clippers squad.
Stay tuned for more updates.
