The Cleveland Cavaliers will meet the Los Angeles Lakers at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland on Wednesday, Feb. 10, starting 8 PM ET.
The two teams will clash for the first time this season. The Cavs registered a thumping 20-point victory over the Sacramento Kings and will look forward to extend their home run before the All-Star break.
As per the official NBA reports, the Cavaliers have already taken their record to 37-14 this season and are only behind the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs. In their last 35 outings against the Western Conference opponents , the Cavs have managed to win 29 out of them. Quickens Loan Arena has turned to be a lucky hunting ground; they continue with a 17 out of 18-regular games win record against the West.
Kobe Bryant will be playing for the last time at the Quicken Arena as an “active player,” notes a source. Bryant had already announced his retirement but he will go into the upcoming clash averaging 16.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists.
According to SB Nation, Los Angeles Lakers have continued on their poor form and their record now stands at 11-43. They have, quite easily, managed to lose their last 12 outings in 14 games. Bryant has also struggled throughout the season.
Cav’s Mathew Dellavedova is doubtful and will be out with a sore left hamstring injury. For the Lakers, Lary Nance Jr. and Roy Hibbert are not in a very good condition, too. Anthony Brown is impaired with a hamstring injury. Bryant who is suffering with a shoulder injury might push himself to play his last match in Cleveland.
