The MTV Movie Awards 2016 is almost here. Films and actors will once again compete for the coveted Golden Popcorns. Did your favourites get nominated?

According to AL.com, two blockbuster films lead this year’s nominees. “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” grabbed the most number of nominations at 11. Meanwhile, “Deadpool” was not far behind at 8 nods.

According to USA Today, teasers to several upcoming movies will also be shown during the telecast. These include “Suicide Squad” and “Captain America: Civil War.”

MTV Movie Awards 2016 will be televised live on April 10 at 7 p.m. Central (April 11, 10a.m. ACT). You can check out MTV.com for live stream info. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart will be hosting the event. Both actors got Movie Awards nods this year.
