Motorola seems to have rebranded its Moto X line-up to Moto Z, according to unofficial reports. The Lenovo-owned company has long been rumored to unveil its next flagship smartphone at the Lenovo Tech World Conference 2016, starting Thursday, June 9. The latest teaser image reveals that the speculated Moto Z specs would probably include a rear camera sensor, capable of 10x optical zoom.

The teaser accompanies a small description in Chinese which reveals the 10x zooming capabilities of the smartphone, as reported by Android Pure. Another leaked Moto Z specs render hints at a slim metallic body of the smartphone. The profile view of the image shows a camera bump on the back panel of the speculated Moto Z. The leaked image also suggested that the new Moto Z may arrive in three color variants including Silver, Gold and Rose Gold.

The Moto Z smartphone line-up is anticipated to come with replaceable modular back covers or MotoMods, allowing the user to customize the handset. The MotoMods will come with an extra cost. If rumors are to be believed, one of the MotoMods may allow the smartphone to be converted into a camera. Substantiating previous rumors, the latest teaser image also shows 16-magnetic points on the back panel where the MotoMods are supposed to be connected.

The much anticipated Moto Z specs will also reportedly include replaceable rear covers for the Moto Z, called StyleMods. Crafted with different materials such as ballistic nylon, wood and leather, the StyleMods can be easily put on the back of the smartphone.

The Moto Z flagship smartphone series is believed to follow the same naming pattern and bring in Moto Z Play and Moto Z Style, just like the Moto X line-up. Both the variants are believed to sport a 5.5-inch display. The Moto Z Play will reportedly arrive with Full-HD display resolution whereas the Moto Z Style may tout a Quad HD display.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, the Moto Z Play is said to arrive in 16GB or 32GB storage variants. On the other hand, the Moto Z Style is anticipated to come with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage configurations.
