“Mortal Kombat X” is here! This is a fighting video game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
As per the Game Spot reports, Warner Bros. released the Kombat Pack 2 game play trailer which also had some added details. It was reported that “Everyone who buys the Kombat Pack 2 gets the four new characters, the ‘Apocalypse Pack,’ the Goro character (previously a preorder/paid fighter) and along with some added contents.”
The content list is as follows:
Brazil Pack – The Brazil Pack features three new character skins: Futbol Cage, Capoeira Liu Kang, and Gaucho Kung Lao.
Kold War Pack – The Kold War Pack includes three new character skins: Motherland Sonya, Tundra Sub-Zero, and Revolution Kano.
Kold War Scorpion – Kold War-themed Scorpion character skin.
There are also three new character skins for Takeda, D’Vorah, and Erron Black. The “Apocalyptic Theme” is one of the most interesting things in the added list.
Game Spot quotes, “This video focuses on the expansion pack’s new characters, which include Leatherface (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Xenomorph (Alien), Bo Rai Cho (drunken fist master) and Tri-Borg (combination of Cyrax, Sektor, and Robot Smoke).”
The Mortal Kombat X has sold more than 5 million copies which is a record. It was launched in April 2015 and was priced at $30. Though, the game’s Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions were cancelled, it continued to get a revamp on Playstation 4, PC, and Xbox One consoles.
The gameplay trailer was previously set in private mode but later Director Ed Boon clarified that the trailer will be made available soon.
The “Mortal Kombat X” plot revolves around Shao Kahn and Shinnok, who attacked the Earthrealm with his army of Netherrealm demons, as well as the Earthrealm warriors who are killed during Kahn’s invasion. The warriors are now resurrected as revenants under Quan Chi’s control.
