Super hit K-drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo finale is just around the corner. Spoilers for the season hint towards a happy ending with Wang-So (Lee Joon Gi), the fearsome 4th Prince marrying Hae-Soo.

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo is based on the Chinese novel Bu Bu Jing Xin by Tong Hua. However, speculations are rife that Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo finale will diverge from the original plot and feature a happy ending for Ha-Soo and Wang-So.

Fans so far might have understood that a Hae-Soo’s love life is a major part of the period drama. It will be more evident in the upcoming episodes. In fact, the fate of her love life will witness some significant changes in the final installment. The good news is that the outcome will be positive.

What have we seen so far?

In the last few chapters, we saw the 4th Prince Wang-So losing his heart to Hae-Soo. Nothing could really deter him from seeing her. In an interview with The Kpop Herald, actor Lee Joon Gi explained these increasing feelings.  He said: “She is the only person that saw him for what he truly was. He’s also most honest when he’s around her.” His statement clearly indicates the season will bring a happy ending to Wang-So and Hae-Soo’s love-story.

The likely outcome:

If the spoilers are to be believed, in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo finale the female lead will marry the 4th Prince Wang-So. A recent report disclosed Prince Wang-So will be the third king in a historical aspect and will marry his heartthrob Hae-Soo. This will eventually make her the queen of Goryeo dynasty. Hae-Soo and Wang-So are believed to live a happy life with their children.

The Plot:

The drama follows the story of a 25-year-old 21st-century woman, Ko Ha-Jin ((Lee Ji-Eun)). She drowned during the solar eclipse and is transported back in time to Goryeo Dynasty Korea. When Ha-Jin woke up she found herself in the body of 16-year-old Hae-Soo. Back in time, she encountered the many royal princes of the ruling family.  As the story progresses it unfolds many mysteries linked to the royals. Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo is an epic tale of love, hatred, greed, conspiracy, and treachery.

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo finale will be aired on October 31, at 10pm KST on SBS.
